Positive Parenting Affirmations for Every Day

This article is part of the Mommy Overwhelm series. We shared some everyday activities to unload stress, and ideas on food, herbs and supplements to strengthen your resistance to stress and battle depression.

Affirmations are a great way to lock ideas into your sub conscience. You become what you think. They are a way to consciously influence your sub conscience and ultimately break old unwanted behavior patterns. You can repeat them throughout the day, or set a fixed time everyday for affirmations. You can also choose to print them out and hang them somewhere visible and then repeat them every time you pass by.

  2. I prefer to set anchors for affirmations. You simply pick an activity that you perform constantly and set this as your anchor. For example, every time I use my cellphone to text, web surf, talk, or check the time, I will repeat my affirmation twice. This method works well for me.
