I’m not the girl I was before,
It’s something quite bizarre
I am not less, I am not more
I resemble from afar.
But once upon a closer look
You’d see the way these changes took
My hips got wider, feet got larger
belly loosened too,
I got some wrinkles and some marks,
‘cause I gave birth to you.
I’m not the girl I used to be
Yet do not frown my brow,
‘cause though that girl’s no longer me
I am a woman now.
