  1. I don't agree with routine infant circumcision at all, but, because misquoting statistics won't help our cause, I do have to point out an important error in your description of your first link: The study wasn't about death rates in all baby boys, but about death rates in *neonatal* baby boys (i.e., those in their first month of life). Babyhood lasts for a much longer time period than that. I couldn't find any statistics on mortality rates from car crashes or suffocation during the whole of the infancy period, but it's perfectly possible that those causes do in fact kill off a lot more baby boys than circumcision. Let's focus on the thought-provoking, tragic death rates from circumcision without opening up our arguments to criticism by making inaccurate statements.
